    JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe has appointed Livingston County Prosecuting Attorney Adam Warren as the new Associate Circuit Judge for Sullivan County in the 9th Judicial Circuit. Warren, a Chillicothe native, has served as Livingston County Prosecutor since 2011. He earned his law degree from the University of Missouri School of Law and holds a bachelor's degree in hospitality and restaurant administration from Missouri State University.

    JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Missouri farmers have a new opportunity to grow their business by becoming authorized vendors through the Missouri Farmers Market Nutrition Program. The program provides funds to low-income seniors and families receiving WIC  benefits to purchase eligible foods from authorized vendors at farmers markets. In 2024, participating farmers earned an average of $760 through the program.

    JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - With spring on the horizon, the University of Missouri Extension Office is encouraging gardeners to take steps to help protect monarch butterflies, a species facing significant population decline. The MU Extension Office says habitat loss, pesticide use, and extreme weather have all contributed to the monarch’s struggles. However, gardeners can make a difference by planting milkweed, the only plant monarch caterpillars eat.
