    (Shenandoah) -- Shenandoah motorists are advised of a traffic issue for a few hours Monday morning. Highway 59 will be limited to one way in the vicinity of the railroad tracks near Southwest Road between 7:30 and 11 a.m. Police Chief Josh Gray tells KMA News the southbound lanes of 59 will be closed a short distance either direction to allow for railroad track repairs. "The railroad contacted us with needing assistance kind of with traffic control Monday the 12th," said Gray.

    (Malvern) -- Kudos continue to pour in to a Mills County business that came back from the ashes. Iowa Senator Joni Ernst presented Mulholland Grocery with one of her Small Business of Week Awards in a visit to Malvern Friday morning. Originally announced in late March, Ernst tells KMA News she waited until now to present the award in order to honor the business on its 150th anniversary. "Family owned and operated, and an incredible business," said Ernst. "What they give back to the community.

    (Stanton) -- Stanton school officials are hoping to address at least one building need this summer. Superintendent David Gute updated the Stanton School Board earlier this week on the district's facilities situation. Speaking on KMA's "Morning Line" program Friday morning, Gute says the district awaits final plans for repairs to the elementary wing's heating and air conditioning system--the building's most pressing need.

    (Sidney) -- Fremont County officials now have an agreement in place regarding infrastructure associated with a proposed wind turbine project. Earlier this week, the Fremont County Board of Supervisors approved revisions of a road use agreement with MidAmerican Energy. Back in February, ownership of the proposed Shenandoah Hills Wind Farm was transferred from Invenergy to MidAmerican. Plans call for a series of turbines straddling the Fremont-Page County line south of Shenandoah.
