    CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — A Franklin County couple is facing animal cruelty charges after State Police claim they killed their kids' pet ferret as a punishment for breaking curfew. Dylan Sellers, 29, and Amanda McCoy, 36, both of Chambersburg, were charged Wednesday with four felonies and eight misdemeanors, including aggravated cruelty to animals, neglect, possession of an instrument of crime, tampering with evidence and conspiracy.

    LANCASTER, Pa. — Four people suffered minor injuries when a vehicle struck a house after being hit by another car Friday afternoon in Lancaster County, authorities said. The incident was reported at 1:11 p.m. on Horseshoe Road, near the intersection with Jefferson Drive, according to East Lampeter Township Police. Police said the crash occurred when one vehicle was pulling out of a driveway and struck a sedan that was traveling along Horseshoe Road.

    HUMMELSTOWN, Pa. — A Dauphin County man was captured by U.S. Marshals after getting stuck in a crawl space while trying to elude authorities, police claim in charging documents. Tyler Clingan, 26, of Middletown, was apprehended by members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and other law enforcement agencies Tuesday morning at a home on the 9000 block of Joyce Lane in Hummelstown, according to Swatara Township Police.

    LITITZ, Pa. — Note: The video is from June 2024. Wolf Sanctuary of PA is asking the public to help keep its 55 residents well-fed. The sanctuary, located on Speedwell Forge Road north of Lititz, Lancaster County, needs roughly 660 pounds of meat every week -- or nearly 1.5 tons per month -- to keep its wolves fed. Each of the sanctuary's 55 wolves and wolfdogs, which range in age from 2 to 15 years, requires 2-3 pounds of meet per feeding.

    WASHINGTON BORO, Pa. — A Lancaster County wildlife rehabilitation center on Friday provided an update on the condition of an injured river otter that was rescued by State Police and the Pennsylvania Game Commission in Franklin County last week. According to the Raven Ridge Wildlife Center in Washington Boro, the otter was found by a fisherman in Quincy Township on May 31.
