SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) was called to investigate a shooting involving a Greenville County deputy Sunday night. Around 9:50 p.m., Greenville County Communications received a 911 call reporting a domestic disturbance on Bryson Heights Drive. When responding deputies arrived at the scene, the sheriff’s office said they encountered an armed individual, and a deputy-involved shooting occurred. Authorities said the suspect was shot and killed.
