The model is designed to prepare people to be able to respond in emergencies and get them into a field that’s experiencing a nationwide workforce shortage. “Our motto here at Spirit is our family taking care of your family. And we take that to heart,” says Brian Hathaway, who’s the president and CEO. Hathaway is in charge of training the future generation of lifesavers.
