PLATTSBURGH, NY – The Class “C” Softball and Class “D” Baseball first round New York State games would see a combined 26 runs in the two games. The baseball game had Lake Placid playing North Warren at Plattsburgh High School. Placid scored first on a sac fly and would also take a 4-3 lead on back-to-back balks from the Cougars’ pitcher. But from there North Warren outscored the Blue Bombers, 12-4 for the sub-regional win.
