WEST CHAZY, NY – The Peru Nighthawk baseball team would come up with a two-game sweep of Beekmantown in the Class “A” championship best of three game series. After winning a home game on Tuesday, Peru went on the road to the eagles’ nest where they would pull away in the late innings for a 9-3 win, clinching the Class “A” title. Highlights from the team’s championship series win, and hear from some standout players of the game including the team MVP, in the video above.

KEESEVILLE, NY – The Beekmantown flag football team continues make history this season with a win in the opening round of the New York State tournament. After a scoreless first half, Beekmantown opened the scoring on a 21-yard touchdown pass from Payton Parliament to Grace McCasland making it 6-0. After Holy Trinity tied the game, the two would hook up again in the back of the end zone, this time getting the extra point both of which were set up by a very big run from Parliament.
