The City of Sault Ste. Marie recently purchased a property at the northeast corner of Second Line West and Goulais Avenue for $115,000 more than the former owner paid for it last year. In January, the City of Sault Ste. Marie purchased the property at 628 Second Line W. for $710,000. On Sunday, 15 male and female students aged 11 to 17 and their two teachers took to the ice at the Northern Community Centre to experience the Come Try Ringette event hosted by the Sault Ringette Club. Although there are a small number of ice rinks in Thailand, there are far fewer opportunities for students there to use them compared to in Canada.

I have Twice had the opportunity to work beside Fred, both times covering tragic stories. I saw first hand the empathetic way in which he approaches his subjects in those terrible situations. You can’t fake that. Congrats, Fred.
