MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ – A Monmouth Junction man was arrested and charged with lewdness and criminal sexual contact for performing more than 12 sex acts in public in a South Brunswick apartment complex and inside a Rutgers University Library in Piscataway over the past year. Jihad Goines, 21, of Monmouth Junction was arrested and charged December 5 after investigators found evidence linking him to both cases, said Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone on Tuesday.

PLAINFIELD, NJ – As residents and loved ones packed into the Plainfield High School auditorium on Saturday, hundreds of firefighters, police, and EMTs braved cold temperatures outside in support of Plainfield and its fallen firefighter, Marques “Huddy” Hudson. Hudson, a Piscataway resident, was tragically killed in a Plainfield fire on the morning of January 26. Firefighters and emergency personnel from all over New Jersey were on hand, some from New York City, Yonkers, and as far as Boston.
