MIDDLESEX, NJ - South Plainfield High School's boys tennis team continued to dominate on Tuesday, defeating Middlesex High School at Mountain View Park 5-0 for the Tigers' fifth straight victory. The Tigers win improved the team's overall season record to 6-1. South Plainfield has won the Greater Middlesex Conference's Blue Division for the past two seasons and is currently in second place behind Piscataway High School. The Tigers' only loss of the season was to Piscataway.

EDISON, NJ - The South Plainfield High School girls lacrosse team was back on the field on Tuesday to take on Edison High School. South Plainfield lost to Edison 9-7. Emily Lopez netted a hat trick after recording her 100th career goal on April 19. Lopez is now at 504 goals and counting. The senior also won four draw controls in the game. Amber Olsen had a big game too, for the Tigers with one goal, three assists and two ground balls. Megan Mehl had a goal and two ground balls for South Plainfield.
