COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A Franklin County deputy was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly ran a red light and fled an officer at speeds over 100 mph, according to a criminal complaint. Robert A. Lampkin, 32, was allegedly spotted by a Pataskala police officer in the area of Mink Street driving at a high speed, according to an arrest warrant. The officer reported seeing Lampkin run a red light and fail to use a turn signal.

Deadly South Linden shooting, crash victim ID’d as 14-year-old

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — The victim in a weekend shooting and crash in South Linden was identified Monday as a 14-year-old, according to police. Columbus police said Lorenzio Galloway Jr. was found with a gunshot wound after officers responded to a crash Saturday at the intersection of East 12th Avenue and Cleveland Avenue.
