On Saturday he will be in action at a Mother’s Day brunch at the Police Officers Club in St Andrew and on Sunday he heads to Old Harbour, St Catherine for an event called Star Mom. Later this month, DJ Smurf will take patrons back in time to relive the hits of yesteryear at the Footloose retro party. In June, he’s booked for another retro party, Mello Vibes.

Popular soca act Kes the Band will ignite the Clamshell stage at Emancipation Park this Carnival Sunday, as part of the offerings by GenXS. The act, known for the hits Wotless, Savannah Grass, Liki Tiki, Tuesday on the Rocks, Cocoa Tea and Jolene, is a favourite with local soca music enthusiasts. Emancipation Park will serve as the sole hospitality and entertainment hub for the full GenXS experience.
