SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Rudolph "Blaze" Ingram is a name you may not be familiar with just yet, but you certainly will in the future. "I got the nickname Blaze because they know me from running super fast," said Ingram. "You see my chain named Blaze. I'm super fast, that's why they call me Blaze." Blaze is a 13-year-old football player out of Zephyrhills, Florida, and it didn't take long for collegiate programs to realize his blazing speed, including Sacramento State.

STOCKTON, Calif — Amanda Bricker is not your average Division 1 softball player. "I have a genetic disorder," said Bricker. "I have all the hearing organs to be able to hear, but unfortunately my hearing fibers are dead, so I can't hear."  Born genetically deaf, Bricker refused to let her disability hold her back. If anything, she's used that as motivation. "One thing I constantly remind myself is it's not a disability, it's truly a gift from my creator," said Bricker.

DAVIS, Calif. — Over a dozen NFL scouts were on hand at UC Davis to witness draft prospects in action at Pro Day. UC Davis, Sacramento State, and the University of Hawaii all held a joint Pro Day. Of the more than a dozen student athletes who took advantage of the event, there were two names who stood out above the rest: Lan Larison (UC Davis) and Jackson Slater (Sacramento State). Larison is one of the most decorated athletes to come out of UC Davis.
