The No. 2 Boston College Eagles (18-2) women’s lacrosse team continues its run in the 2025 NCAA Tournament with a quarterfinals matchup against the No. 7 Yale Bulldogs (16-3) on Thursday. Both teams earned second round wins to advance to the quarterfinals. Boston College earned a 10-7 victory over Stony Brook on Sunday after holding off a late comeback attempt while Yale squeaked by Syracuse 9-8 after Jenna Collignon scored the go-ahead goal in the final six minutes of regulation.

The Boston College women’s lacrosse team defeated Stony Brook 10-7 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday afternoon. With the victory, the Eagles advance to the quarterfinals where they will host No. 7 Yale. Shortly after the win, Boston College received the time of the quarterfinals game which will be on Thursday. The Eagles and Bulldogs will face off at 5 p.m. ET on ESPNU. There are no games scheduled for Tuesday, May 13. There were no games scheduled for Monday, May 12.

The No. 2-seeded Boston College Eagles women’s lacrosse team has its opponent for the 2025 NCAA Tournament quarterfinals later in the week. The Eagles will host the No. 7-seeded Yale Bulldogs on Thursday. Both teams earned second round wins to advance to the quarterfinals. Boston College defeated Stony Brook 10-7 and held off a late comeback attempt by the Seawolves to notch its name into the next round while Yale edged out Syracuse 9-8 at home, both on Sunday afternoon.

The Boston College Eagles (25-26, 10-17 ACC) baseball team won its second straight game with a 5-0 victory over the UMass Lowell River Hawks (17-32, 8-13 AE) on Sunday afternoon. The Eagles struck first 1-0 in the top half of the opening frame. Center fielder Josiah Ragsdale notched the team’s first hit of the day on a one-out single, stole second and third, and crossed home plate on a fielder’s choice.
