SEATTLE — Around 30 protesters were arrested after breaking into an engineering building on the University of Washington campus Monday night. The group "Super UW" said in a post online that they were there to support Palestine. They want the university to cut ties with Boeing because of the company's defense contracts with the military, specifically what is being used to support Israel Defense Forces.

MORTON, Wash. — A fire destroyed a wooden train trestle on a historic Washington railroad that was under construction. The trestle near Morton caught fire Wednesday night, April 30. It's along a portion of railroad that was closed for restoration.
