As wildfires continue to burn across northeastern Minnesota, many people are wanting to help those affected. Food, water, and supply donations have been pouring in. Hugo Bar has become a hub for those looking to help. "I'm just so proud of this community, I really am," said Crystal Nykiel from Brimson. St. Louis County Sheriff Gordan Ramsey said they have enough volunteers and physical donations, and that financial ones would be most beneficial right now.

Steven Bailey, the Minnesota man charged in last year's deadly drunken driving crash at Park Tavern in St. Louis Park, pleaded guilty to multiple charges on Wednesday morning. Bailey, 56, is accused of plowing into more than a dozen people on Park Tavern's patio on Sept. 1, 2024, killing server Kristina Folkerts and Methodist Hospital employee Gabe Harvey. Both victims were 30 years old. Twelve others were hurt, with five suffering serious injuries.

MORA, Minn. (WCCO) – Nine dogs were found dead and nine others were in a severely neglected condition at an in-house dog boarding and training facility in Minnesota. The owner of the facility now faces animal torture charges after the deaths occurred in her care, authorities said. When Kayla Volk rescued Buddy, she knew her dog would have a long road ahead. “He’s spunky when he is himself, when he’s not scared and anxious,” Volk said.
