A community centre in Kenilworth has taken green steps to help it save thousands of pounds a year. Thanks to a grant from the government’s VCSE Energy Efficiency Scheme, The Kenilworth Centre (tKC) have been able to get solar panels, LED lighting and insulation. As a charity, tKC says it ‘continuously looks at ways to lower overhead costs, become more energy efficient and reduce the carbon footprint’.

A tulip garden featuring more than 500,000 flowers has opened at Hatton Country World. With more than 100 varieties of tulips, including early, mid-season, and late-season bloomers, Tulleys Tulip Garden – curated by the same team that brought Tulleys Tulip Fest – will have a rolling kaleidoscope of colour throughout the season. Visitors will be able to explore the garden at any time during the season to see how the tulips evolve from buds to bloom to petal fall.

In March 2024, The former Gold Cup Inn and Jambavan Restaurant in Castle Street was renamed The Guy of Warwick in recognition of the historic town’s own legend of the same name, dubbed ‘England’s Forgotten Hero’.
