Carl Sheldon was residing at Wharflane House Approved Premises in Shelton having been released on licence from HMP Dovegate on March 2, 2021. He had been convicted of robbery back in 2017 and sentenced to seven and half years in prison. An inquest held into his death has heard that Carl had been found slumped on the floor of the Rectory Road hostel on March 8, 2021.
