MADISON (WKOW) -- State lawmakers held a public hearing Wednesday on a bill that would increase penalties for sextortion. The proposal, known as Bradyn's Law, is named after a central Wisconsin teen who died by suicide last month after falling victim to the crime. Brittney Bird, Bradyn's mother, testified at the hearing to bring awareness and to prevent others from suffering the same fate. She described the morning of March 5th as an ordinary, snowy day.

According to the Beloit Police Department, 71-year-old David Grady was last seen wearing a blue hoodie and black joggers with a white stripe. He is described as being 6 feet 4 inches tall, weighing approximately 250 pounds. Grady is believed to be driving a 2017 gray Dodge Caravan with Wisconsin disabled license plates number 69454.
