    FITCHBURG, Wis. (WKOW) - Four horses have died following a barn fire early Sunday morning in Fitchburg. The Fitchburg Fire Department responded to a structure fire on the 2500 block of Richardson Street at approximately 4:37 a.m.Upon arrival, firefighters observed smoke and flames coming from a 50-by-25-foot pole barn. The fire was contained, preventing it from spreading to nearby properties, according to a press release from Fitchburg Fire. The horses housed in the barn died in the fire.

    MADISON (WKOW) -- Several counties in Wisconsin are under a Red Flag Warning on Sunday due to extreme fire danger. The warning, issued by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) in coordination with the National Weather Service, is in effect from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday for 19 counties, including Ashland, Barron, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Florence, Forest, Iron, Langlade, Lincoln, Marinette, Oneida, Polk, Price, Rusk, Sawyer, St. Croix, Vilas, and Washburn.

    TOWN OF HUBBARD, Wis. (WKOW) - A 19-year-old man was seriously injured Friday night after his car collided with a tractor on State Road 33. According to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to the scene in the town of Hubbard at approximately 8:53 p.m.An initial investigation found that a 2011 Subaru was traveling eastbound when it struck a 24-foot folded disk implement being towed by a Massey Ferguson tractor, also eastbound.
