SAN ANTONIO – San Antonians will elect a new mayor and vote in all 10 city council seats in the May 3 election. (Find election info on KSAT’s Vote 2025 page.)The election is nonpartisan, meaning candidates are not affiliated with political parties. If no candidate receives more than 50% of the vote on May 3, the top two vote-getters will advance to a runoff on June 7. And with a whopping 27 candidates, that’s all but inevitable.

SAN ANTONIO – Districts across San Antonio and Texas are considering whether to adopt new state-approved teaching materials that have sparked controversy for being “Bible-infused.”The South San Antonio Independent School District recently adopted the “Bluebonnet Learning” curriculum that was approved by the State Board of Education late last year. Several other school districts in the San Antonio area told KSAT they adopted the math portion of the curriculum or don’t plan to adopt it at all.
