TOWANDA, PA. (WENY) -- A Sayre, Pennsylvania man will serve a maximum of 206 years behind bars after pleading guilty to rape and meth charges, according to the Bradford County Drug Task Force. According to the Bradford County District Attorney's Office, Hall raped 17 different women over several years, which he videotaped. They were discovered by drug task force detectives while they were investigating a meth lab Hall was found to be running.

ITHACA, N.Y. (WENY) -- A commercial truck ran off the city streets near Ithaca's downtown Wednesday night. According to the Ithaca Police Department, the driver of the truck blew through the intersection of Hudson St. and S. Aurora St., traveled up an embankment and came to rest on the other side. The crash happened just before 8 p.m.The driver was somehow able to avoid all pedestrians, cars and buildings in the area, police say. The driver was taken to a local hospital to be evaluated.

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) -- Comedian Jay Leno is scheduled to perform at Elmira's Clemens Center this August. The Emmy-award winner was made famous for his long-time hosting duties on The Tonight Show, and has since been touring the country doing stand-up comedy. Jay Leno will bring his stand-up comedy to the Clemens Center on Friday, Aug. 22 at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 13.

On Saturday and Sunday, chalk artists will take to the streets of Elmira's downtown to show off their designs and skills. The best artists from the weekend will even receive cash prizes. Festival attendees will be able to see the chalk art in progress, as well as enjoy craft and food vendors as well as live music.

CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) -- Unionized healthcare workers at the Corning Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare have been without a contract for over a month. The union representing them say their latest 3-year deal ended on April 30, and the workers are at dispute with their employer over talks. The workers are represented by 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East. Members are bargaining for improved staffing levels, better insurance and more competitive wages. "Our residents deserve more.
