RAPID CITY — A year after coming up agonizingly short of a state championship, Brandon Valley cleared the final hurdle on Saturday night. In a rematch of the 2024 title tilt, the Lynx avenged their one-point loss by knocking off defending champion Mitchell 53-45 for the Class AA boys basketball championship at the Summit Arena. Capping a 21-3 season, it’s Brandon Valley’s first state boys basketball title since 2019.
