WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — After lengthy recruitment, Davion Hill put pen to paper Monday. The St. John Neumann star will officially play college basketball at Missouri State. ”It definitely feels good for it to come to a close," Hill said. LA PLUME, Pa. — Keystone Baseball Coach Jamie Shevchik, and his Associate Head Coach Ryan Smyth have coached together for over a decade, but Smyth has a new, summer job. "I’m really excited to start," Smyth said. "I’m an energetic kind of guy. I'm really happy for the opportunity. Jamie (Shevchik) says it all the time. It’s one of the best jobs in baseball.” That job is managing in the Cape Cod Baseball League.

LARKSVILLE, Pa. — It’s been a busy few weeks for Connor McGovern. ”I was in Hawaii right before free agency started," McGovern explained over Zoom. "Came back to Texas, signed with Buffalo, went up to Buffalo, went to Pennsylvania, came back. Went to Florida, came back to Texas and then just went up to Buffalo to look at houses and came back and now I’m in Texas." He found a house. He’s moving to Buffalo next week with his fiancée.

DICKSON CITY, Pa. — Mark Ottone started bowling when he was 4 years old. Now 17, Ottone is a junior at Scranton High School, but since the Knights don't have a bowling team, he competes for Holy Cross. Last week, he did something no one in a youth division has ever done here at Idle Hours North – he bowled an 800 series in the Northern Lackawanna Bowling Conference Scholastic League. "I was nervous, and then I was happy and I was nervous again," Ottone explained. "I can't even put words on it.
