The station is part of Nexstar Media Group, which also manages the CBS affiliate WYOU (channel 22) in Scranton through a shared services agreement with Mission Broadcasting. Both stations have their studios on South Franklin Street in downtown Wilkes-Barre, while WBRE's transmitter is situated at the Penobscot Knob antenna farm near Mountain Top.
