BELTON - Nobody took notice of how they lifted their pinky, but other than that "Mother's Day Tea Time" on Saturday at the Harris Community Center was a Southwestern attempt at a British-style afternoon tea. Adam Trujillo, recreational superintendent for Belton Parks and Recreation Department, said the "fun couple of hours" was scheduled ahead of Mother's Day, so as not to interfere with anyone's traditional plans for the day.
