    Police have revealed they had previously attended a property in Queensland's Lockyer Valley where a woman died in a suspicious incident involving a ride-on lawn mower. Psychologist Frances Crawford, 49, was found dead at her Upper Lockyer property, west of Brisbane, in the early hours of Tuesday morning.     A mid-winter blast has brought widespread frost to Queensland, with temperatures plummeting to below zero in southern parts. Residents on Queensland's Western Downs shivered through the state's chilliest temperatures this morning, with Dalby recording a low of -4 degrees Celsius. It felt a lot colder though with the apparent temperature dropping to -7.3 degrees. Closer to Toowoomba, temperatures dropped to -2.7 at Wellcamp Airport and -2.3 at Oakey, which felt like -7 degrees.

    Craig Eddie's love affair with snails started when he was five years old on a Queensland beach. As he recalls, seashells caught his eye in the sand during an annual family beach holiday. He put a few in his pocket to take home and study more closely — but soon, he needed more shells. "We didn't go to the beach very often, so I had to do other things to satisfy the drive," Mr Eddie said. "I discovered there were native land snails in our garden, as well as the introduced variety.
