    Philadelphia's Carnaval de Puebla is canceled because of concerns that immigration officers could target the event, organizers say. Edgar Ramirez, one of the organizers, told CBS News Philadelphia the parade initially scheduled for April 27 is canceled because of Immigration and Customs Enforcement threats against the Mexican community. The event typically draws up to 15,000 people to Washington Avenue for a parade and a festival in Pennsport, according to Visit Philly.

    Ramp from Lombard Circle to I-95 Northbound will shut down Tuesday in Philly due to cap project A ramp onto I-95 near Penn's Landing in Philadelphia will close starting Tuesday, PennDOT says. The ramp onto I-95 North at Lombard Circle and Columbus Boulevard will be closed for about two years as construction continues on the I-95/CAP project, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

    A bill to put speed cameras in several different school zones in Philadelphia was voted out of committee Monday in City Council. Seven school zones were suggested as possible camera sites, all picked based on recent crash data. Councilmembers on Monday listened to testimony about the proposal. Drivers caught speeding near one of the schools would have to pay a fine between $100 and $150 depending on how fast they were going.             The cameras would only be active during school hours.
