    UPDATE 8:00 PM – More details have come out about the fatal crash involving a tractor-trailer on I-44 just after 2 p.m. on Tuesday. According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, there were two people in the tractor-trailer that crashed at mile marker 160 on I-44. The driver of the truck, a 26-year-old man from Joplin, was killed in the crash, while an 18-year-old woman in the truck suffered serious injuries and was taken by air care to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
