Since starting at The Reminder, I dreamed of one day having my own opinion column in the paper. Well, it looks like that day is finally here and I could not be more excited!For those who don’t know me, let me start by introducing myself. In the fall of 2023, Hoffman started Kneadle Dee Baking Co.“I’ve always enjoyed baking, I’m definitely a better baker than a cook,” she said. She went on to say that she did baking in 4-H growing up and spent a ton of time in the kitchen with her mother and grandmother.

Executive Director Maya Matthews explained that the nonprofit organization is mostly volunteer run with about 80 active volunteers throughout the week, but their roster consists of over 500.
