Countless vehicles found themselves having to dodge a wayward truck driver, last March, after he found himself lost on a narrow and windy stretch of road. Footage of the 34-year-old truckie who was enroute from Inglewood in the Adelaide Hills to Mount Gambier, showed him crossing onto the wrong side of North East Rd, several times, forcing drivers in the opposite direction dangerously swerving to avoid being hit.

Kane Swift is accused of stabbing his brother, Raymond Drechsler, with a hunting knife. On Tuesday he appeared via video link in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court to answer charges of attempted murder, assault causing harm, illegal use of a vehicle, speeding dangerously and driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

South Australians who were donor-conceived will now be able to access their genetic heritage and relatives via the Donor Conception Register in efforts to help many residents figure out important medical history. This includes access to information about those who made donations under the condition of anonymity before September 2004. Before then, donors were guaranteed lifelong anonymity.

More than 200 homes and businesses are to remain without power until Thursday morning as a delicate operation is underway to remove a South Australian sea squadron truck, which was towing a marine rescue boat, from an electricity pole in Brighton, in Adelaide’s south.
