"I've always loved photography," says Charlotte Rosario, The Community Photobooth Founder. Merging photography with philanthropy. That's how Charlotte Rosario came up with The Community Photobooth. "The mission of The Community Photobooth is really to help people whose needs are overlooked," she said. It is a non-profit she created during the pandemic to raise funds for other non-profits. Her inspiration? Her dad. Joseph Rosario died by suicide days before the COVID-19 lockdown.

State Sen. John Laird and Army veteran Tony Virrueta are running for the state Senate District 17 seat, which now includes all of Santa Cruz, Monterey and San Benito counties, as well as the northern part of San Luis Obispo County, following recent redistricting. "I've had already over 50 bills signed into law," Laird said.

Incumbent Tyller Williamson and challenger Monique Kaldy are running for mayor of Monterey, each presenting distinct priorities and solutions for the city's future. "When I got onto the council, we had a rainy day fund set at 16.6% that we weren't even meeting. Now we've increased it to 20%. We're meeting that threshold," Williamson said. Williamson, elected mayor two years ago and previously a city council member since 2018, emphasizes fiscal responsibility and infrastructure.

SALINAS, California (KSBW) -- The Palma Brotherhood is changing. "Even though the brotherhood traditionally might've been going away, we were gaining a sisterhood and gaining a family," Holly Harris said. Harris is the director of student activities at Palma School. Her son attends Palma School, and now her daughter will too. For the first time since 1964, Palma is welcoming girls.
