(KELO) – A settlement has been reached in a lawsuit between South Dakota and the NCAA that reduces the amount of money Division 1 schools will have to pay towards a different proposed settlement — but that’s not all it ensures. We’ve been following this case since September, when Attorney General Marty Jackley and the Board of Regents filed the lawsuit on behalf of SDSU and USD.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO)- An apartment complex near the Empire Mall in Sioux Falls has a new name after being taken over by a new property management company. At the beginning of this year, the apartment buildings were being ran by Tzadik Management, but now they have a new management team. Equity Real Estate Management took over in March and now there are signs up touting a new name for the complex — The Oaks.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – President Donald Trump has lashed out at Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, saying he needs to go following Powell’s comments this week about tariff uncertainty. “The level of tariff increases announced so far is significantly larger than anticipated, and the same is likely to be true of the economic effects,” Powell said Wednesday in Chicago. Powell says that could include higher inflation, slower growth and higher unemployment.
