SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO) – The large wildfire, named the Route 13 fire, burning near the Takini School on the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Reservation is quote “under control”. The latest update says it is 50% contained. While firefighters work to put an end to the blaze, staff at the Takini School are distributing lunches to students. The food will be given to kids from Takini community, Bridger, Cherry Creek, Red Scaffold and Eagle Butte.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A Rapid City woman is behind bars Tuesday night, accused of murder. Rapid City Police say 28-year-old Pam White Butterfly has been arrested in connection to an alleged shooting on February 23rd that killed one man and critically injured another. Police have identified the man who died as 68-year-old Lenart Brown Eyes. The investigation is ongoing. If you have any information about the shooting, contact the Rapid City Police Department.
