The commission quickly approved resolution 2025-02, which allows the commission to capture all revenue from the following tax increment finance districts and economic development areas: Oakwood, Syracuse, Syracuse-Polywood and Allen Residential Economic Development Area in 2026.

Both sides of SR 13 were lined with people sitting on chairs or blankets, little kids waiting excitedly for candy to be thrown by the vehicles and floats that would soon come by. The parade stepped off at 1:30 p.m. with police cars leading the way with lights and sirens blaring.

The parade was lead by members of Milford American Legion Post 226. The color guard stopped in front of Milford Town Hall for a brief ceremony including firing three volleys before proceeding down the parade route.
