    Staff ReportNOBLE COUNTY — Robin Lee Laymon, Hudson, has been arrested and charged with theft, a level 5 felony, in Noble County. She is accused of stealing over $367,000 from the Noble County Community Fair Corporation, where she served as treasurer. Court documents show the president of the Noble County Community Fair Corporation, notified authorities May 8, informing them Laymon had embezzled a large sum of money from the corporation’s bank account.

    News ReleaseFULTON COUNTY — Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a hunting accident that occurred Saturday morning, May 10, in Fulton County. At 6:18 a.m. Fulton County Dispatch received a call reporting an individual being shot while turkey hunting near CR 375N and CR 100W in Rochester. Brian Lehman, 41, Nappanee, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and neck from shot fired from a 12-gauge shotgun. Lehman was airlifted to South Bend Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released.
