    Deep in the temperature-controlled vault at the Wangensteen Historical Library of Biology and Medicine, there are tens of thousands of centuries-old medical materials within the University of Minnesota’s collection. The goal is to digitize flap books dating back to the 1500s. Historical flap book collections exist all around the world, ranging from pollical satire, to Seitz books, to medical education. On April 1, the day the grant was to begin, the U received an email stating the NEH grant was terminated.
