The BriefIn January, the University of Minnesota was awarded a nearly $1 million grant to use over the next year and half the National Endowment for the Humanities. The goal is to digitize flap books dating back to the 1500s. Historical flap book collections exist all around the world, ranging from pollical satire, to Seitz books, to medical education. On April 1, the day the grant was to begin, the U received an email stating the NEH grant was terminated.
