Emilee Brickles, 19, from Heaton, vowed to complete a 80-mile walk from Bolton to Cartmel over the span of four days following the death of her father Lee Brickles last year. Lee, who was diagnosed with oesophagus cancer in June 2024 died just two months later following his diagnosis.
