SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - Lost your pet? Many people turn to dog trackers like Charlie Barnes and his dog Saabi when they’ve lost a dog or cat. He does the service for free, but he’s talked to several lost pet owners who have been contacted by people claiming to be certified dog trainers and asking for a fee to be paid before they start searching. Once they get the money, they never show up. Barnes says to do homework on anyone who claims to be a tracker.
