    LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Family and friends gathered Sunday to honor a man who was hit and killed while riding his motorcycle in the southwest Las Vegas valley. Jordon Dodder, 37, was riding his motorcycle to work Wednesday morning when a car hit him at the intersection of Russell and Lindell roads. Police said the car failed to stop at the stop sign. With nearly 60 people in attendance, friends and family came out to support the Dodder family as they mourned the loss of their loved one.

    LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Lee Canyon announced Wednesday that it will end its winter operations on April 13 after a historic run that included its earliest opening in 13 years. Lee Canyon kicked off the season on Nov. 2 and received more than 60 inches of snow in March and early April. The resort is set to celebrate the final weekend of the season with spring skiing conditions on the mountain. Lee Canyon will operate from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily through Sunday.

    LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Henderson man was sentenced to 10 years in prison after he attempted to meet up with what he believed to be an 11-year-old for sex, according to the U.S. Department of Justice. On Oct. 1, Nathan Thomas Foreman, 43, pleaded guilty to coercion and enticement and possession of child pornography. On April 5, 2023, Foreman engaged in a sexually explicit conversation over text with someone he believed to be an 11-year-old girl in an attempt to meet up and have sex.

    LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A motorcyclist was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a crash in the northwest Las Vegas valley, according to Metro police. On Monday around 4:15 p.m., police responded to a report of a crash in the 6800 block of West Lone Mountain Road near Rainbow Boulevard. Police said a sedan was exiting a private driveway when it hit a motorcyclist, who had the right of way, riding westbound on Lone Mountain Road.

    LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A pedestrian was hospitalized Saturday night after they were hit by a vehicle in the central Las Vegas valley. Around 8:20 p.m., police responded to a report of a crash involving a pedestrian near West Twain Avenue and Arville Street. Police said the pedestrian was crossing Arville Street with a vehicle made a turn and hit the pedestrian. The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital where they were treated for their injuries. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
