    LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A neighbor’s security camera captured a man killing his girlfriend and then driving off in a stolen car, eventually leading to his arrest in Mexico after a two-year search, according to documents the 8 News Now Investigators obtained. Oswaldo “Nate” Perez-Sanchez, 27, is accused of killing his girlfriend, Tabatha Tozzi, 26, on April 22, 2023, outside a west valley home near Alta Drive and Cimarron Road. A relative of Perez-Sanchez lived in the home, police said.

    LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Federal authorities arrested a man Tuesday in Mexico nearly two years after Las Vegas police accused him of killing his girlfriend, the 8 News Now Investigators have learned. Tabatha Tozzi, 26, was shot in the head on April 22, 2023, outside a west valley home near Alta Drive and Cimarron Road. Police later identified her accused killer as Oswaldo “Nate” Perez-Sanchez, her boyfriend. Perez-Sanchez allegedly confronted Tozzi and then shot her during an argument, officials said.

    LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A mother plans on filing a lawsuit against a Las Vegas childcare facility after she told the 8 News Now Investigators she found her 9-year-old son’s hands bound. Kala Hall said the incident took place on March 20, at Cherished Legacy Academy and that her son Kody appeared to be sleeping. “Like he appeared dead to me. He was on his stomach. His mouth was open. His head was tilt, and no one had an answer for me,” Hall said.

    LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — An investigation is underway at MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas after a cancer patient woke up to startling news in the operating room. Kimberly LeMarbre said a surgery to address her second diagnosis of thyroid cancer was scheduled for January 2024. She went under anesthesia, but was told when she woke up that the surgery couldn’t be completed. “I open my eyes and I knew immediately something was wrong,” LeMarbre told the investigators with News 2’s sister station, KLAS.

    LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Las Vegas Metro police said there is no evidence of a crime committed at a childcare facility after a mother said she found her son’s hands bound. Kala Hall told the 8 News Now Investigators she found her 9-year-old son Kody’s hands bound as he appeared to be sleeping on March 20 at Cherished Legacy Academy. Hall said detectives showed her video from inside the facility after the 8 News Now Investigators shared her story.
