1. IntroductionIn plant genomes, most genes contain intron sequences and have conserved intron patterns. (The bases at both sides are generally 5′GT-AG3′.) [1]. The initial product of gene transcription is the precursor mRNA (pre-mRNA), in which intron fragments are further removed through a splicing protein complex and the exons are religated to form mature protein-coding mRNA.
