Mr Seely married Nur in the parish church of Brook, and the couple had a reception afterwards in the village hall that carries his family name - the Brook Seely Hall. Afterward, the couple went home for a barbecue and picnic, with sausages on the menu. "What else" Mr Seely quipped on his Facebook page.

Karen Back lived with her family at the stunning architecturally-designed property Moonshine on Leeson Road for 18 years. The family evacuated on December 10, 2023, following the landslide.
