Mr Seely married Nur in the parish church of Brook, and the couple had a reception afterwards in the village hall that carries his family name - the Brook Seely Hall. Afterward, the couple went home for a barbecue and picnic, with sausages on the menu. "What else" Mr Seely quipped on his Facebook page.

A family deeply affected by the devastating Bonchurch landslide have spoken of the "closure" they hope will now follow after their beloved home sold prior to its auction date. Karen Back lived with her family at the stunning architecturally-designed property Moonshine on Leeson Road for 18 years. The family evacuated on December 10, 2023, following the landslide.
