Located beside the main playground, the new structure is themed after the fairy tale, “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” and includes details from other classic children’s stories as well.

The average price of gasoline in New York is $3.08 per gallon, down 0.6 cents from last week, and the national average is down 4.8 cents from a week ago standing at $3.13. According to GasBuddy data, the national average is up 3.1 cents from a month ago and 43.0 cents lower than a year ago. Prices in New York State are 3.6 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and 56.6 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.

PERU — Babbie Rural and Farm Learning Museum unveiled its brand-new sign Saturday, May 17, celebrating its history and local artist, Greg Badger. The Babbie Museum sign serves not only as an “eye catching advertisement,” but a sampling of the structures and exhibits located on the Museum’s campus, including the general store, blacksmith, carriage house, granary and school house. “Each building and person on the Babbie Museum’s sign has a story,” Badger said.
