    May 7—VAN WERT — A Van Wert woman entered into a plea agreement with prosecutors in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday to dismiss an involuntary manslaughter charge against her for providing fentanyl to a man who later died from an overdose. April Diltz, 46, pleaded guilty to an amended count of corrupting another with drugs, a third-degree felony which carries a maximum sentence of 36 months in prison with a $10,000 fine.

    BATH TOWNSHIP — The Bath school board is expected to adopt a resolution opposing the state’s two-year budget bill, which would impose a cap school carryover balances or reserves at 30% of operating expenses. The school board will meet to consider the resolution at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, at Bath High School classroom 101, 2650 Bible Road.
