GEORGETOWN, Del. - A Georgetown man is facing attempted murder and arson charges after police say he set his girlfriend on fire during an argument early Sunday morning, leaving her critically hurt. According to Delaware State Police, troopers were called to a home on Paradise Street in Georgetown around 2:52 a.m. on April 20 for a report of a woman in distress. When they arrived, they found a 44-year-old woman suffering from severe burns across a large portion of her body.
