    LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — A resident at The Springs in Lafayette received a surprise of a lifetime Friday afternoon. The Springs will host a "Live the Dream" event for residents at the facility to fulfill their lifelong dreams. Cyril Sturm is a military veteran whose dream is to ride in a helicopter, and The Springs is making that dream a reality. Thanks to a local helicopter pilot, he will take his ride next Thursday. News 18 caught up with him after the announcement and got his reaction.

    WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Registration is now open for this summer's radKIDS camp. The West Lafayette Police Department holds the program to teach life-saving skills. The radKIDS camp teaches kids through hands-on simulations. During five separate two-hour sessions, officers will cover a variety of topics. One of those topics includes teaching kids what to do if they get lost in a store. Officers also teach kids the difference between good people and bad people.

    FORT WANYE, Ind. (WFFT) — Fort Wayne International Airport will be opening The Gateway Lounge presented by STAR Bank. The lounge is a new amenity offered at FWA for passengers looking for an elevated airport experience while they wait to board their flight. The new lounge is located on the second floor of the airport. It will operate during standard airport operating hours, with annual memberships available for frequent flyers and day passes on a limited basis.
