    (WHNT) – An Arab man has died in the hospital after being attacked with a hatchet in Arizona, his wife told News 19. The family of 32-year-old Jacob Couch has confirmed that he died in an Arizona hospital after being attacked on East Broadway Boulevard and South 6th Avenue in Tucson. Couch was in the hospital for 12 days following the attack, and his wife said he died at 9 p.m. on Thursday.

    LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – Two people are dead and another is in the hospital following an apparent murder-suicide in Lauderdale County, according to the sheriff’s office. The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a call about a suspicious person in the area of Ingram Street in Underwood-Petersville. When LCSO arrived, they said they found an injured woman with a single gunshot wound.

    JACKSON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – A man was killed in a single-vehicle accident in Jackson County on Monday, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. The crash happened Monday around 1 p.m. on County Road 78 just west of Ider. ALEA said Zachary Smith, 27, was killed when the motorcycle he was riding left the road and hit a ditch. Smith was thrown from the motorcycle and the agency said he was pronounced dead at the scene.
