In the meeting, the council voted 4-1 to enter a stadium agreement with Larry Schmittou, who at that time was the principal owner of the Nashville Sounds.

    HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – A Toney man will spend life in prison after a Madison County jury found him guilty of capital murder in what authorities first believed to be his wife’s suicide. David Tolbert, 50, was charged with the capital murder of his wife, Savannah, who died on Nov. 15, 2022. The Huntsville Police Department initially thought her death was a suicide but as the investigation continued, they ruled it a homicide and her husband was charged on Dec. 9, 2022.

    HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The capital murder trial of a Toney man accused of killing his wife in what authorities first believed to be a suicide will roll into Thursday. Jurors deliberated for around two hours Wednesday before breaking for the day. They are deciding the fate of 50-year-old David Tolbert. Tolbert was charged with the capital murder of his wife, Savannah, who died on Nov. 15, 2022.

    ALBERTVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office provided more details after they found a formerly reported missing 13-year-old from Albertville last week. On April 30, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office said Dayetssi Carrasquillo Pizarro, a formerly reported missing girl from Albertville, was found safe in Arizona with a 32-year-old man, Raul Alexis Arellano-Romero.
