LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The Louisville Metro Police Department is on the scene of an overnight shooting in the city’s Portland neighborhood. MetroSafe confirmed to WAVE News the reported shooting happened in the 2200 block of Griffiths Avenue in the early morning hours of April 8. MetroSafe did not say how many people were injured, or how severe their injuries were. WAVE News has a crew at the scene and is gathering information. LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Metro Police are investigating several incidents Sunday night into Monday morning. The first, a shooting at a Louisville fast food restaurant. Police were called to the White Castle at 7th and Algonquin Parkway around 11 Sunday night on a report of a shooting. Officers located evidence of a shooting at the scene, but didn't find a victim.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Former NBA champion and Louisville native Rajon Rondo was arrested in Southern Indiana over the weekend. According to Indiana State Police, Rondo was arrested on Jan. 28 on firearm and drug charges following a traffic stop on I-65 in Jackson County. ISP says they began to get reports of a 2022 Tesla driving recklessly on the interstate in Bartholomew County around 1 p.m. Sunday. Troopers saw the vehicle as it entered Jackson County and conducted a traffic stop.
