An $800 million bond issuance that would fund Mayor Cherelle Parker's major housing initiative was introduced to City Council on Thursday. Parker proposed the bond as part of $2 billion in resources toward her Housing Opportunities Made Easy (H.O.M.E.) Plan, which would build 13,500 new housing units in the city and rehabilitate an additional 16,500.
