INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A very quiet weather pattern will settle in over the next several days. Friday:It is a crisp start this morning as cooler Canadian air has settled across central Indiana. Despite the dry air in place and high pressure overhead, expect temperatures to warm rapidly throughout the day. They will peak in the upper 60s this afternoon, which is slightly below average for this time of year. Breezy conditions are expected at times through the afternoon, with gusts around 15 to 20 mph.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A few locally heavy downpours are possible for parts of the state today. Thursday:We’re waking up to mild temperatures with mostly cloudy skies across the area. A few isolated showers and thunderstorms have developed in Central Indiana. This morning, rain coverage will be spotty, though brief downpours are possible at times. We’ll see an increase in shower and thunderstorm activity this afternoon, especially along and south of Interstate 70.
